Hah! Yeah, right. Taggers are totally threatened by Pinkberry! Better get out the lime green paint!
BTW, I often visit the Pinkberry in the Olympic Collection (bottom level) on Sawtelle & Olympic. No one is EVER there! Also, it's across the street from the latest branch of Beard Papa. Double Whammy!
We are going to try our best to not allow a chain come to AK. Pinkberry is exactly what can take the specialness away from this glorious neighborhood feeling street, with unique stores and people.
i like pinkberry - but it is a chain and therefore doesn't fit in with abbot kinney. i'm surprised that it got this far. venice and abbot kinney are a pretty tight community and they respect the fact that the neighborhood is filled with so many smart creative people. oh well - maybe it's a sign of just how good the yogurt is. maybe if starbucks still served quality coffee, we'd see one on the street as well.
Bree Crocetti is a private chef and food blogger. While primarily covering the westside, she has been known to cross La Cienega for the right culinary adventure. She is a founding member of The National Health and Wellness Society Wine Club, and a member of the second graduating class of The New School of Cooking. When not photographing her food she can be seen trekking through Rome in search of the perfect plate of Cacio e Pepe, or burning it all off in local 5K races.

I have heard that location is always empty. The one in the Marina always has a steady crowd.
