Father's Office in Culver City - Coming Soon

I stopped the space of the eagerly awaited second location of Father's Office in Culver City. It is on Helms, next to the Jazz Bakery and HD Buttercup, across form Beacon. They have a nice long outside patio that is almost the size of the Santa Monica location! There did not seem to be much activity inside, my guess is we have at least a few months before we get to fight for a table.

Wow I always wonder what kind of restaurant is going to occupy that space. I didn't expect it'll be Father's office! So has it open for business yet? I can't wait to try it there. Also I wonder if they'll open for lunch for the "sony" crowd, more option for them beside Beacon!

A Father's Office in Culver City??? A mere 10 minutes from my apartment? A bigger location where I might find Double Bastard Ale on tap and yet not have to hack through yuppies with a scythe like so many weeds?

The original was the best before it got discovered. Then they got a gourmet chef and track lighting and it all went to hell. But the beer selection is still the best in town, and for that, I cannot wait for this satellite location.

Um, you'll still have to wait months for a table even after they open ;)

The Times actually ran an article on the capacity of the SM location:
